CAMPING SITE RULES & PRICES


Note Camping is available to members

(Membership £5 !) .

Prices

Small (2man) tent £6.00 per night

Large tent (> 2 man) £8.00 per night

Caravan or motor home £10.00 per night.

We have a lovely bar, changing rooms, showers and toilets, but no electric hook ups.  Instead a beautiful view and lots of space - no need to pre book, but you must come and register at the bar before pitching tents / caravans.

Rules and Conditions of Camping

Security:

- As the road to the lake is used as entering and exiting the centre, drivers must remain alert to possible oncoming traffic

Vehicles:

- You must inform us of your vehicle registration details

- Only one car by a pitch is allowed

- Any other cars must park on the car park

Restricted Activities:

- No camp fires or disposable BBQ's on the ground

- No swimming in the lake.

Children:

- Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their children's actions and their safety at all times. There is no supervisory service, and there are natural hazards associated with the nature of the site.

- We understand that children may be excited at being away from home but would emphasise that there should be no noise before 8am or after 11:00pm. Children / young adults under 18 should be under canvas after dark, or at their respective pitches

- Please respect other camper pitches, and do not cut across them or let your children play in and around them or leave their property lying around

Noise/behaviour:

- We expect everyone to have courtesy, respect and consideration at all times to other caravanners and campers

- Excessive noise, bad language, unruly and intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated. No car stereos or music after 11.00 pm.

Smoking:

- All buildings in the centre are non-smoking amenities

- Cigarette ends should be extinguished and disposed of in the bins around the centre

Illegal substances/Offensive weapons:

- No illegal substances or offensive weapons may be brought onto the site

- All items deemed to be offensive weapons (laser pens/catapults/toy firing guns including BB guns etc) will be confiscated

- If any illegal substances are discovered then the police will be requested to deal with the matter immediately

Use of sites:

- Windbreakers and awnings are permitted provided they are kept well clear of neighbouring pitches

BBQs:

- No disposable BBQs on the ground as they cause damage to grass and present a danger

Use of Facilities and Amenities

Waste disposal:

- Rubbish must be bagged and disposed of in the silver wheelie bins provided

- Scraps of food must not be ‘left out for the birds' as this may encourage vermin

- Sanitary bins are provided in all the ladies toilets

- Please use these bins and do not flush hand towels, nappies or sanitary products down toilets as this can result in blockages

Visitors:

- Visitors to the site will be charged for parking at the normal rate, unless they become members of the centre

Lost Property:

- Any article lost or found at the site must be reported and handed into the bar or the WMWSC reception, which is situated on the decking

Other information

- There are water taps situated outside of the changing rooms, by the BBQ hut at the edge of the lake, and by the hot tub.

- There are changing rooms which include toilets, wash basins and showers. Please be aware that everyone at the lake uses these facilities, so they can be busy at times

- The Waterfront Ski Bar is open every evening and all weekend, with food available from bar snacks to 3 course meals. For further information, please talk to the bar staff

- Ten-80 is a wakeboard and water-ski school for anyone that wishes to have a try. However, they are very busy at weekends. But if you would like a go, please go down to the Ten-80 decking for more information.

- The hot tub is for our boat members only

- Dogs are allowed, but under control. The Site Management may deem it necessary to ask for specific dogs to be permanently on a lead or tied up if the present a nuisance.  If so directed please comply immediately.
